The Shanghai ( 上海 ) 400 is a new 35mm color film, succeeding the popular Shanghai Light film.

While little information is available about this film, its predecessor, the Shanghai Light film, was said to be revitalizing film for the renowned Shanghai brand, known for producing panchromatic films in China since 1958.
